Bamboozle '09 first timer. Any hints or tips or advice?

This is my first year going to Bamboozle and I wanted to know if anyone out there has any advice on what to wear, what to bring, how much money I might need, and all of that stuff. But I was wondering how the stages will be set up. Will there be seating, or will it just be moshing, or will I be able to stand back from all the chaos and still watch?Bamboozle '09 first timer. The stages will be set up through out the parking lot. There are no seats, and there will probably be moshing at the more hardcore bands.


You should bring money, ( I brought $200 last year, because I like to buy a lot of merch.) Cell phone, and camera, depending on your skin tone, you might want to wear sunscreen, if you burn easily. Just wear something comfortable, a hoodie is a good idea, it gets cold at night.

you will literally be high off the experience for daysssss after!





i went last year, and alot of the bands just literally walk around! i met part of scary kids scaring kids, and coheed and cambria.also, they tend to hang around their own merch tables.


most of the bands youll have a chance to meet, and that walk around, arent THAT big. although alot of bands have signings, even the bigger ones (the academy is had a signing last year, along with others)


unless they have a signing, its almost impossible to get a headliners autograph :(





dress comfortably. still look fab just in case you meet bands :) but you dont want to be uncomfy, trusttt me


dont bring much money at all unless you plan on buying shirts, hoodies ect.


if you want any specific tshirt, hoodie all that, get it early!! especiallyyyyy the shirts for the bamboozle festival themself. the line gets ridic after a shirt while, and they sell out.


dont bring alot of stuff, itll just get lost or stolen :(


the stages arent always set up the same, but close to the show (idk if its up yettt?) the website has a map of all the stages, and everything else. PRINT IT OUT ! ! ! it will some sooo much in handy!!!


really figure out who you want to see, where their playing, and when EARLY.i missed a couple bands i wanted to see because its so hard to find anything, it all looks the same lol


theres is noooo seats lol. LOTSSS of moshing though! it gets stupid. like moshing to mxpx? yes, of course that makes sense! moshing to motion city soundtrack? wtf?!?


you do have room to stand back away from all the moshing. but dont expect to be able to reallyyy seeee the band.


if there is some band you absolutely must see and will die if you are not 3 feet away from the stage, GET THERE EARLY!!!!!


i NEEDED to mee paramore last year [my FAV :)] and i got there 2 bands before they came on, and had a dreammmm spot to see them :) literally could see the raindrops on hayleys pretty face :)
