Tips/advice for dating?

My friend told me that a guy friend of hers thinks I'm cute and wants to meet me. He's good looking so I decided why not. Although this isn't my first date, I've been single for a few months now and I'm a little nervous since I've never meet him in person and don't know much about him. Any tips/advice?
