ThanksNeed info, tips, advices about the Airport, Airplanes?
do some research about your carrier airline. its really not as bad as you think. chew gum during the take off and landing. your ears will kinda pop because of the height. before reaching the the security part (once your bags have been checked in) if you are wearing shoes that tie, go ahead and untie them,cause you have to take off your shoes.

*arrive two hrs before flight, take something to keep you busy, ipod,mp3 handheld games ect...

*if you can sit near the window, i know that is the last thing you would want to do, but it helps ease the nerves.

*keep things like boarding passes and id on your person

*pay close attention to signs at airport for where to go

*once you find you gate and you have time, go and explore in the gate area-there will be food, shops and things back there

*keep listening for any updates

*wear a watch

*expect long lines when checking in, boarding the plane, security as well

*it can sometimes be really cold, they might have blankets availble, but wear a light jacket and pantsNeed info, tips, advices about the Airport, Airplanes?
Relax, the whole things will probably be easier than you expect.

To clear a few things up:

';keep your boarding pass and I.D out constantly.

they seriously make you show it like 10 times.';

I've NEVER had to show ID or boarding pass anything like ten times for any flight, including international flights. You will need to show your ID checking in, show your ID and boarding pass as you enter the security check, then usually show the boarding pass again just after you go through the metal detector, then show your boarding pass again to get on the plane.

';Don't try to take any liquids on the plane, they will make you throw it away when they check your carryon.';

Not quite right. Liquids in 3.4 ounce or smaller containers are permitted through security. They must be in one (per passenger) one quart clear plastic sealable bag, which you remove frm your carry-on bag and send through the x-ray separately.

You can carry those liquids onto the plane, and anything bought (or taken from the tap!) after security.

';also bring a sweater and chapstick. The planes are freaking freezing and dry out your lips.';

It can also be hot as blazes on the plane, sometimes hot and cold at different times during the same flight. Stuff the sweater in your carry-on. If you wear it you will probably have to take it off at security, Oh, and the chapstick is not a bad idea, but it needs to go in the baggie with your liquids.

Go to the right terminal, pay attention to where you are walking. The gate signs are hanging from the ceiling in most airports.

Please don't stand in one spot on those speed walk way things. It annoys everyone.

don't say the words bomb or terrorists. they will tackle you and fine you a butt load of money.

wear shoes that are easy to put on since they make you take them off so they can check for whetever, and don't forget to take off your belt before you walk through the metal detector.

also bring a sweater and chapstick. The planes are freaking freezing and dry out your lips. And get there 2 hours early because they need you to check in an hour before the plane leaves and they board the plane 30 minutes before it leaves the gate.

And a big no no is never watch someone you do not know's carryon bag or don't ever leave yours anywhere! Some crazy person could like slip something in it and then you'd get in trouble.

and don't talk loudly on the plane.
get there 2 hrs early

don't be drunk . . .

be ready to have all your carry on looked at !
